Quality and continuity are central to the Halal Correct France system. We use a structured procedure to select, train and authorize our auditors and Islamic-affairs experts to conduct audits. We also invest in developing our team to help us achieve our future objectives.
Halal Correct France activities are conducted in accordance with ISO 17065, ISO 17021-1:2012 and GSO 2055-2:2021 to ensure the quality of the services provided to our clients. Halal Correct France is therefore committed to continuously improving its own quality management system.
Our lead auditors continuously help develop and train other auditors across different scopes of application. This ensures that auditors with the appropriate knowledge can work across a wider range of assignments. All auditors are trained in the ISO 19011 requirements for auditing and audit techniques.
When our logo appears on a product on the market, it means that the product has been halal-certified by us. This assurance is based on multiple certification and inspection stages covering the entire production chain.
We select, train and authorize auditors and Islamic-affairs experts based on their auditing experience, educational background, category expertise and other relevant training.
In its halal-certification activities, Halal Correct France places fundamental importance on complying with the core values and foundations of Islamic dietary rules: “الرجوع إلى الأصل”.
We have therefore summarized our guidelines in seven commitments designed to give Muslim consumers confidence. Choosing Halal Correct France means choosing the following seven guarantees:
The welfare of animals intended for halal slaughter is an essential part of Halal Correct France’s traditional halal-certification procedure. Traditional ritual halal slaughter requires a comprehensive approach to ensure that all meat produced in this way meets high animal-welfare standards. Our supervisors trained in traditional halal slaughter and our technical auditors work closely with certified slaughterhouses to ensure that the tayyib—wholesome and high-quality—dimension of halal is applied correctly. This helps provide safe, high-quality meat while safeguarding animal-welfare requirements. Halal Correct France also participates in the committee on slaughter without stunning or anesthesia established by the Dutch government to protect animal welfare during halal slaughter.
